"Very family friendly with lots activities for young children. Ordered "Full Board" food package, however found out that drinks (including water) were not included. Hotel nickles and dimes you on small charges if you are not careful about your spending" (Sean, United States)
"Recpetion staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were spacious, very clean and bathroom was very well appointed and modern. Beds were comfortable doubles and the room had a great view overlooking the swimming pool and sea. Food was good and varied, breakfast had hot choices as well as traditional continental buffet. Evening meal offered a wide choice with always numerous meat based dishes, fish, salad and vegetarian dishes available. Drinks in the restaurant and hotel bars were reasonably priced. The hotel is in a great location adjacent to a beach fronted by a level promenade which is good for strolling either towards Benicarlo (2km) or Peniscola (4km) in the evening with plenty of places to stop for a drink along the way. Did not use the entertainment at the hotel which was outside by the pool, but the good thing was it always ceased at mindnight so the night was generally very quite. Pool area was great and the pool itself a good size. I would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting a reasonably priced getaway" (Ian, United Kingdom)
"Friendly and well-organized. Very good value for money for the (winter) price we paid. Excellent entertainment in the evening. The largest hotel we have ever stayed at" (Liebistorf, Switzerland)
"Reasonable hotel with fantastic location. We enjoyed our stay there. All-inclusive package is highly recommende. Entertainment could have been better... (Besik, United Kingdom)
Hotel. Suites & Spa Don Carlos de Peñíscola ****
"The hotel is very smart and well situated near to the beach and old town. We were upgraded to a suite which was very smart and attractive, and superb value . Peniscola is a really pleasant quiet seaside town with a castle and old town overlooking the sandy bay we will consider revisiting this area and hotel again. The buffet dinner and breakfast had a good selection of food although not all of it was as hot as it might be. The minimalmistic dining area was functional although a little cafeteria like"(Roy, United Kingdom)
"Second stay here. We didn't get the best room this time. Balcony was to patio. Good spacy room. Good breakfast. Wifi had good connection in room. Greetings to receptionist, good english and very helpfull and friendly. Safe didn't work first but was fixed next day. Expensive garage. Wifi not free thought 1€/hour is not much"(Pauli, Finland)
"Rooms nice - Buffet restaurant fine, but don't be fooled by the spa photos. The pool is tiny and nobody was ever on duty at the 'spa', which was also tiny. We went to a nearby hotel for their spa which was much more impressive" (Missingnewcastle, United Kingdom)
"An excellent Hotel with all wishes. Very spacious rooms, with all adaptations for people of reduced mobility and very friendly staff. Located in a very nice place" (Aleksandr, Spain)
Aparthotel Acuasol ***
"This is quite a decent hotel if you know what you are expecting. Its in a spanish resort with only spanish channels on the TV and quite a small pool for the number of rooms. its air conditioned which is a bonus and has a small kitchen area. There are a number of restaurants local to the hotel and many many more in the town a short bus ride away. the food in the restaurants is extremely cheap with most advertising 3 course meals of the day for around 10 Euros. When compared with normal "brit" resorts the food is very spanish, very good and very cheap by comparison. If your looking for a nice restful holiday with a great beach and lovely spanish food look no further. The other sister resorts of this chain offered hotels with bigger pools and more facilities though. We went with a timeshare exchange and found it good to be in a predominently spanish resort with a fantastic beach" (Grant, United Kingdom)
"The rooms were fairly well. The buffet was also varied within what is food that is not especially delicious buffet, and the best is undoubtedly its price." (Carmen, Spain)
"The kindness of the staff. The room was impeccable, with leftovers for 2 people, economic space and the incredible buffet breakfast. The distance to the old town of Peñíscola... but it is something that you know in advance. We will return"(Beatriz, Spain)
"All was perfect, what I like was the amqbilidad of the hotel staff. The buffet was normal, was not very varied, but was fine. There was no microwave"(Patricia, Spain)
Aparthotel Jardines del Plaza ***
"It was very spacious with sea views. Nice decor. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The only problem was finding entrance to the place when arriving. Address us wrong! The address should be the address of the hotel zt next door, where check inn is"(Anon., Australia)
"Our accomodation was comfortable and located in a quint little town of Peniscola. Staff were friendly even though we only stayed seldom in the apartment because we hired a car and did a lot of driving to make the most of our stay. The hotel and apartments were across from beach and offered suitable amenities. Proper maps would be needed to find hotel because we struggled a bit, roads very confusing compared to South Africa. We spent our time walking in the streets doing shopping in little shops at night till late with so much to offer for oneself and souveniors. A castle was perchered at the top of a hill which made this town even more adorable to be in. A mere 2 hour drive to Barcelona and 1 hour drive to Valencia"(H0lidaytrip, South Africa)
"We spent 5 days here on an RCI exchange and loved it. As the sister hotel to the huge Peniscola Plaza Suites we had the advantage of a quieter, quaint and picturesque resort with access to all the services (restaurants, bars, wifi, pools) of the main resort. We had a two bedroom, 2 bathroom, two balcony room on two levels which worked well for a family with teenagers. We prepared our own meals some of the time and found all the facilities we needed in the small kitchen. As we were on a timeshare exchange we were pleasantly surprised when our rooms were serviced everyday. Wifi was a bit dodgy, with signal strength quite variable. 5 Euro for 12 hours was Ok value. Location was great - on the beach half way between Peniscola and Benicarlo. Peniscola has a great castle to explore and lots of shops and restaurants. It is best to have a car when you are here to take advantage of the surroundings - also Peniscola is too far to walk for dinner. The resort had four restaurants, however we didn't get to sample any of them as you had to book at reception 48 hours in advance!!! They also have buffets we were forced to eat in the first night as we arrived late - overpriced and not fabulous in quality. It seems like this resort is patronised mainly by Spanish holidayers, with very few Enlish speakers evident. We really enjoyed our time here, and would definately come here again"(Langasvacation, Australia)
Hotel & Spa Villa Olimpic@ Suites ****
"Rooms were very well designed, spa was brilliant. I have complain with room windows, I got heart by the window which is very sharp and dangerous. Needs attention"(Haider, Irland)
"Interior, design, spa and pool area. Only 10 Euro taxi ride from City Centre, so pretty central after all. Breakfast buffet was great and inexpensive (10 Euro). Wife didn't like the elevators!!"(Morten, Norway)
"It was great experience. Convenient location and very friendly staff. We have rented bicycles, that were brought directly to the hotel. It took us only 10 min on the bike towards beach, Sagrada Familia or downtown. Breakfast is very good!"(Dejan, Norway)
"All hotel staff friendly and helpful. Our rooms extremely clean. Close to Metro. Very interesting area to walk round and convenient shopping centre. A short walk from the sea" (Bárbara, United Kingdom)
Hotel. Centro de Negocios y Eventos Sociales & SPA Valencia Park****
"I really liked the hotel and thought it was great value for 4 star. The spa was also a lovely treat and very relaxing. The location is great as it's not too far from the airport, the Race track and Valencia itself. I would definitely reccomend this hotel" (Lucy, Portugal)
"Perfect for what I needed Out of city loction with decent restaurant, comfortable, clean etc, easy access to surrounding area"(David, United Kingdom)
"The location of the hotel was the most important for us. As we traveled by car from Germany to Marbella we had to overnight somewhere close to the highway a7. And we coudn't make a better choice!!! It takes just a few minutes to get to the hotel from the highway and a couple of minutes to get back avoiding all city traffic. There are 2 bp petrol stations near the hotel. So we didn't need to waste our precious time with searching for the petrol station before we can continue our trip. Chienese restaurant wok made our day. It was a great value of money to pay around 13 euros per person for a great seafood buffet. (The evening buffet opens around 20.30 - 21.00). And one more word about the morning breakfast. It was just simply great. Yes, they open it a bit late. At 8:00 A.M. But it worth waiting for it. Fully satisfied we left the hotel and continued our journey. We will for sure stay at this hotel again on our back trip to Germany. Maybe the time of the breakfast could be a minus"(Anon., Germany)
Hotel & Spa CaboGata Plaza Suites****
Superb value for money conveniently located close to Almeria Airport. Very nice hotel at a fair price. We would recommend it.(John, United Kingdom)
We used the hotel as a one night stay before travelling to our final destination. We thought the hotel was excellent value for money with very good facilities and would have been happy to stay there for a longer time. The evening main course meal was not of a very good standard and cold but the starters were excellent. Overall again (as the half board rate was cheap) acceptable"(Anónimo, United Kingdom)
"Excellent breakfast, close to the beach and natural park Cabo de Gata & Almeria.(Zuzana, Slovakia)
"Modern and clean hotel in a quiet location. Excellent value for money" (Stephan, United Kingdom)
